I came here after 6pm on a Thursday and there were a lot of people here. I decided to eat here because I was kind of forced to eat out that day. My apartment complex was repaving the street so I had time to waste until the street reopened. I decided to order a lot so I could go back to my apartment and not have to wait for the street to reopen. What better way to waste time than go to a restaurant? lol I was asked if I wanted the high chairs or wait for a booth so I chose the high chairs near the bar. I ordered a soda ($2.49) and the Grilled White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms ($7.99) for the appetizer and spent more time looking at the menu. I couldn't decide what to order because everything sounded good to me. In addition, there were so many choices on steak among other items on the menu. I decided on the Outlaw Ribeye ($22.79) which only came in a 18oz. It came with a salad and a side which I chose the Loaded Idaho Baked Potato. I also ordered the LongHorn Dessert Sampler ($8.59) which had samples of 3 other dessert items on the menu (Chocolate Stampede, Caramel Apple Goldrush, and Mountain Top Cheesecake). The Grilled White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms was good and had a good amount considering how big the mushrooms were. The salad came after and it was nothing special in my opinion. After I finished the salad, the Outlaw Ribeye and the Loaded Idaho Baked Potato came out. It was a pretty large steak and I don't think I ate a steak that large before. I liked the taste of the steak which was probably why I was able to keep eating it at steady pace. The Loaded Idaho Baked Potato was not bad but at this point, I was pretty full from the steak. I was thoroughly full after the baked potato but still told the waitress that I was ready for the dessert. lol The LongHorn Dessert Sampler came out and it didn't look like a lot to me. I managed to finish the Mountain Top Cheesecake which was New York style cheesecake with strawberries and whipped cream. It had a good balance between all of the ingredients. I tried eating the Caramel Apple Goldrush, but I could only finish half of it. It was a little bit too rich with caramel for my taste. Finally, the Chocolate Stampede was good; however, I only ate half because it started to taste too sweet. lol The LongHorn Dessert Sampler was probably best split between two or more people given the amount you get. I'm surprised I ate as much as I did and was still able to finish most of the dessert. Overall, I thought this place was a good place for some steak. I'll have to come back to try other steaks as well as non-steak items on the menu.

8 bucks for a draft beer after tax and tip, don't think I can afford food at that rate, no wonder it was the only parking lot not packed on a Friday night.

Just look at the photo I uploaded. Pictured is the side of Cajun shrimp and crab rice, which is a side dish that has an upcharge. This will tell you everything. I cannot begin to tell you how disgusting this experience was. Luke warm, with a weird chemical smell. The "crab", all one pinch of it was from a can. I spit out the one bite for the sake of my digestive tract and my humanity. The rib eye, described as the most flavorful cut of meat on the menu was unrecognizable. The whole thing was a bizarre uniform color, but not that of meat, like a rust color that had an additional layer of butter on top of it. You literally couldn't tell by looking at it what was meat and what was fat. Cutting into it did not solve any problems as it was so stringy it had me scanning the parking lot for whatever Cisco truck dropped it off. Bottom line, avoid this place at all costs.

We took my 81 year old Dad (at his request) to this Longhorn Steakhouse and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, the restaurant was clean and well managed, and the service was outstanding. We would return!

This was my first visit to any longhorn steakhouse. When we entered(a group of 4,we were waiting for 2 more) the hostess looked less than thrilled to be there. Kinda disappointed, Kansas Citians are usually happy to serve. She told us we had to wait, we were like that's fine, we're still waiting for 2 more. The manager sat us, tip: do not ignore him, he will make sure you talk to him. Our waitress came right away and took our drink orders. I'm glad we got who we got because, like the hostess, some of the wait staff was less than thrilled to be there. Waitress was friendly, accommodated my allergy, accommodated my requests, but service was slow!! People who came in after us got their food before us! We were in that restaurant for 3 hours!!!! Overall I would try this place again when I return to New Mexico next week.

Waitress was great. Attentive and everything was taken care of without needing to ask. I ordered the Prime rib with a baked potato. The potato came lukewarm. The steak was pretty good but not close to the best Prime rib I've had. Still a positive experience.

Honestly, I did not want to eat at a mega-chain steak house. (The other couple picked it.) I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to order something healthy and the server let us sit and visit for two hours with minimal interruptions but great service. (Yes, we left a great tip:) The steaks, chicken and salads were all delic. The sweet potatoe came plain, healthy and most better tasting than the spuds we get at the market. Oh, and the lighting is perfect.

Good food, slow service. It was a little pricey for the lack of customer service. I will recommend this place to friends. Just be mindful that if you want a steak it's gonna cost you a pretty penny.

A group of seven of us stopped in for lunch at noon on a recent Friday. The place was empty. Overall everything was great. My only concern was the very strong odor (old stale urine) upon entering and leaving. As I walked out on the east side of the building I noticed that everything drains right down and against the building. They must have a real problem with foundation and leakage. In the parking lot you need to cover your face. It seems like there is a septic sewer line leak between from the street through and under the burger joint next door (were the parking lot is wet) and across the parking lots up to the steak house. The city needs to check into this because I have noticed it for several years. I do not like to gag on my way in and out of one of my favorite eating places. I really hope everything inside is kept up clean and dry. Mold and contamination could be a real problem.

First impressions are everything and it was a bit frustrating to have no greeting but to make it to the bar since we offered a table and to sit there for what felt like ever. It wasn't just the sitting there, I understand it was a Sunday evening and everyone was stalking an prepping for the following day, but we were right by the expediting window and multiple employees walked by even making eye contact and continued unprofessional banter amongst themselves. The food wasn't much better. We just wanted apps and a beverage. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and the crab lobster dip. Both pretty subpar and not warm. The mushrooms were about 75% eaten so we didn't say anything, but we barely touched the dip and did say something when we were finally asked. The bartender graciously took it off. Perhaps if the initial impression was better, nothing would've mattered as much. We originally were headed to Texas Roadhouse, next time we will go there.

We will go here before trying Texas Roadhouse. The food has always been good, and service has always been great. Never had a bad experience here.

Hubby and I decided to hit up LongHorn on our impromptu date night. I wasn't feeling particularly hungry or in the mood for steak. I'm a couple-times-a-year steak eater and I had already had my quota for the season. I ordered the trout and WOW I'm glad I did. It was spectacular! Grilled to perfection with a wonderful lemony sauce that didn't drown the fish. Steakhouse baked potatoes are always awesome and it accompanied my fish nicely. We had to wait an unusually long time to be greeted by our waiter and we wondered to ourselves what was up. At the moment my DH mentioned it to me here came the manager with a free refill of his beer and a profuse apology. Well! Had someone overheard us? While we laughed at the idea, our waiter arrived with MORE drinks, another profuse apology, and took our orders. Yes, we giggled, we DO think we were overheard. Still smiling, ANOTHER manager stopped by to apologize and I teased that he should "comp my water". Well, that lead to a free appetizer! Talk about feeling like a VIP! Imagine if we had actually complained to someone?! LOL DH loved the comp'ed Spinach Dip app, but I thought it was way to salty. He loved his perfectly cooked steak. With that kind of service, what's not to love? I will definitely go back for that...and the trout.

Well I have finally found a LongHorn Steakhouse......my sis in TX sent me a gift card and here in California we just don't have any to my knowledge. In my visit to Missouri to see my honeeeee I came across LongHorn and we stopped on in for some good ol steak. He got pork chops though :( but thats ok, I did order my fav steak a Filet with the mac n cheese and their famous apple margarita which I have never had before. The margarita was sooooooooooo wonderful. The steak was brought out flatten down like a rib eye steak that I had to ask the waitress what happen and if this really was a filet, she explained that it was but in order to cook it faster and have it well done they flatten the steak out. I was deeply disappointed because down in California you would get your behind handed to you for flattening out a filet. I have my filet's well done all the time and they never I say NEVER flatten it out. She did offer to send it back and have them re-cook a new one the way it's usually done but it would take more time. Due to my honeeeeee drooling over his pork chops already I opted to leave my steak as is but was disappointed. The steak was good but the flattening diminished my overall happiness to have a filet, they should have offered me a rib eye or explained they would flatten it out to cook it faster. Thank goodness that mac n cheese and margarita were soooooo wonderful it took my mind right off the steak. Service was good and our waitress was wonderfully pleasant. I left her an $8 tip even with their cook staff mistake. I can't fault her for the cooking staffs shortcomings, but I will say please do not plan to cook in California if you want to flatten out good slices of Filet. The restaurant was pretty empty this past wednesday so the cooks should have had no issue that evening. They should thank their front staff team for being so great that I let it slide.

Got a gift certificate to this restaurant, and was pleasantly surprised with the place. The food was good, and more importantly in this day and age, the service was EXCELLENT. By far the best service I've had at a restaurant in over 5 years.
